Mug Exchange!

My bounty.

About a month ago, Chelsea from Starbucks, Peace & the Pursuit of a Baby organized a mug exchange across the blogiverse and Instagram. How on earth she coordinated this massive effort is beyond me, but she did an amazing job. I am happy to report that I received my package in the mail today from the lovely blogess behind Life’s Journey. She picked a Tigger mug “for the times when you feel like Eeyore in over-the-knee-boots.” How freaking thoughtful is that? Also, she must be psychic because she somehow knew that tea is, like, the only thing that gets me through the winter. I’m pretty much a chain tea drinker at my freezing-ass desk at work.

When I started this blog three-and-a-half years ago, it was a place for me to keep my friends and family updated on our babymaking journey. It still functions as that today (thanks for sticking with me, family and friends!), but I also met some awesome women along the way. Many of the bloggers from my first go ’round in Babymaking Land don’t blog much these days, but I still think about them often and even consider one a great friend. This time around, I was excited to discover a new crop of awesome blogs and awesome women. There are some seriously kick-ass ladies out there. Thank you to all of you for supporting me when you don’t know me from Adam, and for making me feel like I don’t have to walk this road alone. I am incredibly grateful. You guys rock!

  1. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I really had fun reading your blog to try to pick out the best mug. It was either Tigger or a “little fish” mug. But I couldn’t find the right little fish one. I love tea so much. I drink it all day and night. I’m glad we have so much in common.
